Mall of America's Debut concept nurtures future tenant prospects

 

Looking for new leasing ideas? Check out the new permanent pop-up shop at Mall of America. Called Debut, the 2,000-square-foot store acts as a rotating showroom for some storied brands such as Woolrich and West Elm and some upstarts that have potential to be their own national chains. The store will rotate brands in and out throughout the year.

 

"Debut gives us the opportunity to showcase new retail brands, many that are consistently requested from our guests," Liz McLay, senior vice president of leasing at Mall of America, said in a statement. The shop will be operated and staffed by Mall of America personnel.
