Kite Realty Group Trust signed a lease with Morton’s The Steakhouse at its City Center property in White Plains, New York.
City Center is a mixed-use development with several national retailers, a state-of-the-art movie theatre, and two adjacent 35-story apartment and condominium towers located 25 miles north of Manhattan. The property is a part of the Company’s Redevelopment, Repurpose and Reposition ("3-R") initiative.
It is currently anchored by Target, Nordstrom Rack, Cinema de Lux, Barnes & Noble, ShopRite, Toys”R”Us/Babies”R”Us and New York Sports Club. The Company recently completed a dramatic multimillion-dollar redevelopment of the center including a new escalator, local art installations, and a new branding/wayfinding program.
Public valet parking will also be added soon as one of the convenient amenities for shoppers. The mid-2017 scheduled opening of Morton’s will add 8,000 square feet of upscale dining to the urban, multi-level center. Additionally, the Company has recently signed a lease with Blaze Pizza scheduled to open fall 2017.
