Mainstreet to open acute-care facility in Loveland, CO

Health-care property developer Mainstreet will open a new hospitality-focused, post-acute property called The Suites Loveland this spring near the Medical Center of the Rockies at Centerra in Loveland, Colorado.

Mainstreet selected award-winning national architecture and design firm, OZ Architecture, to complete the exterior design of the 70-bed, 50,000-square-foot property, projected to open in March.

Known for its senior living expertise, OZ Architecture will execute an exterior design intended to reflect the building's northern Colorado surroundings and stunning natural backdrop of the Rocky Mountains and Long's Peak. The design will complement this natural aesthetic with the material use of stone, fiber cement siding and panels, and warm earth tone finishes.

This location's interior design will align closely with the tried-and-true blueprint of Mainstreet properties, whose contemporary interiors create resort-like experiences for patients and visitors. In these environments, medical components are downplayed or concealed, while comforting components like art and furnishings are emphasized for a relaxing, restful result.

Mainstreet's process of collaborating with area designers, planners and architects fosters the creation of best-in-class properties designed with locally inspired elements to create a strong sense of place. With its accessible location and proximity to the medical center, this property will offer care and respite for recovering patients, as well as easy access to follow-up medical care.

The Suites Loveland represents the latest in world-class senior care facilities, aimed at grounding northern Colorado seniors and short-term rehabilitation patients in a comfortable setting as they transition from hospital to home.

Mainstreet is a national company specializing in real estate development, value investments and health care.
