Primoris headquarters moving to The Union Dallas

Primoris Services Corporation has signed a lease to move its corporate headquarters to RED Development's The Union Dallas during the first quarter of 2019, when the 800,000 square-foot, mixed-use destination is completed.

“We are excited to move to The Union as our company continues to grow. We were attracted by the building’s location, access, and amenity packages in Uptown all of which make it easier to attract and retain the best workforce,” said Primoris’ President and CEO David King.

The long-term lease agreement totals approximately 14,000 square feet on the 19th floor of the 22-story office tower with panoramic views of the Dallas skyline. For nearly six decades, Primoris Services Corporation has built a reputation for taking on large, complex infrastructure projects from power generation to airport runways to pipelines that build a sustainable infrastructure for the growing needs of the nation. Primoris is ranked in the top 10 percent of the prestigious Top 400 Contractors List by Engineering News Record (ENR), having built projects throughout the United States.

The Union Dallas is now more than 60 percent leased ahead of its July 2018 opening. In recent months, RED has signed leases with The Henry and North Italia, both Fox Restaurant Concepts; Vinson & Elkins, one of the nation’s largest law firms; Weaver, the largest independent accounting firm in the Southwest; and most recently Akin Gump, an international law firm.

“We are pleased to welcome Primoris to The Union, a company that commands nearly six decades of quality, service, safety, and innovation. Companies, both large and small, public and private are finding their place at The Union,” said Mike Ebert, managing partner at RED Development.

The Union includes a 22-story Class-AA office tower, a 23-story apartment building, retail, a variety of dining options from white tablecloth to fast-casual, an outdoor central plaza with a park-like setting and a 60,000 square-foot Tom Thumb grocery store.

Primoris was represented in the lease transaction by Joe Gallini. RED Development was represented by John Brownlee and Sarah Hinkley of Peloton Commercial Real Estate.

The Union Dallas provides easy access to many main thoroughfares into and out of the Downtown and Uptown areas. It is also ideally located within walking distance of Dallas’ premier sports, entertainment, museum and outdoor park venues. Designed by Dallas-based architect, HKS, Inc., the contemporary blue-hued office tower offers sweeping views of the city with unparalleled conveniences and amenities to tenants.

Located near American Airlines Center and delivering in 2018, RED Development announced The Union in May 2014, and is also leading the design and construction for the project.
